The Soul’s Mission: Ushering in the Geulah - The Redemption
Every soul is a spark of the Divine, an expression of infinite G‑dly light. In the teachings of Chabad, we learn that no soul is ordinary. Every person is entrusted with a sacred mission, a piece of the world only they can elevate. The very fact that your soul was chosen to be born in this generation means you carry within you the strength and purpose to help bring the world to its ultimate destiny.

We are not waiting for Redemption, we are building it.
Our generation is not just another link in history. The Lubavitcher Rebbe's initial declaration was, we are the last generation of exile and the first generation of Redemption. We stand at the threshold of the most extraordinary era ever to exist. But Moshiach’s coming is not a passive event. It's a call to action, one that resonates in the depths of the soul.

What will that world look like?
The Rambam (Maimonides) describes it beautifully:
“In that era, there will be no famine or war, no jealousy or competition, for good will flow in abundance… and the occupation of the entire world will be solely to know G‑d.” (Hilchot Melachim 12:5). A world without war or hatred, filled with clarity, unity, peace, and Divine knowledge. The Third Beis Hamikdash (Holy Temple) will stand in Jerusalem. Nations will live in harmony, and the world will recognize its Creator. Peace will no longer simply be an aspiration; it will be our reality.

But The Rebbe teaches us something deeper: This is not just a vision of the future, it’s a blueprint for the present. We must begin to live with a Geulah (Redemption) mindset now. That means living with purpose, with joy, with Torah values, and with deep awareness that everything we do matters. Every Mitzvah, every kind word, every extra step of goodness, every Prayer, all of this brings light into the world and brings the world to the time of Redemption.

The Rebbe so powerfully said: “Open your eyes to see the redemption unfolding.” We aren't just waiting for miracles from the sky. We are the miracle. G‑d has entrusted us with the mission to complete the work of generations before us. Everything you do helps prepare the world and ourselves, to be ready to greet Moshiach.
 

A New Dimension in Revealing G‑dliness Everywhere:

The Rebbe’s 10 Mivtzoim - Changing the World One Mitzvah at a Time

The Rebbe didn’t only speak about changing the world and preparing it for the Geulah; he gave us practical ways to make it happen.

Through the Rebbe’s Mitzvah Campaigns, known as the 10 Mivtzoim, the Rebbe inspired a worldwide movement to bring Judaism beyond the walls of the synagogue and into everyday life.

The Rebbe taught that no Jew is too far away and no Mitzvah is too small. Every Jew can connect with G‑d through a Mitzvah, and every single Mitzvah has infinite value.

The 10 Mivtzoim helped transform Jewish life around the world.

Today, seeing someone offer another Jew the opportunity to put on Tefillin, give out Shabbat candles, help someone put up a Mezuzah, encourage Tzedakah, or invite another Jew to learn Torah may seem natural — but all of this grew from the revolutionary idea of the 10 Mivtzoim.

Ahavas Yisrael - Love Your Fellow Jew
Love and care for every Jew, regardless of their background, observance, or differences. Every Jew is part of one people and one soul.

Chinuch - Jewish Education
Give every Jewish child a meaningful Jewish education and the opportunity to grow with knowledge, confidence, and pride in who they are.

Torah Study
Set aside regular time to learn Torah and bring G‑dly wisdom into everyday life.

Tefillin
Jewish men and boys over Bar Mitzvah put on Tefillin, creating a powerful connection between themselves and G‑d.

Mezuzah
Place a Kosher Mezuzah on the doorposts of a Jewish home, filling the home with holiness and Divine protection.

Tzedakah - Charity
Give regularly and generously. Even a small coin given to Tzedakah transforms something physical into an act of G‑dliness and kindness.

A Home Filled With Jewish Books
Fill the Jewish home with Torah books so that Torah learning and Jewish values become part of the atmosphere of the home.

Kashrut - Kosher
Keep a Kosher home and make even something as ordinary as eating part of our relationship with G‑d.

Shabbat & Holiday Candles
Jewish women and girls light Shabbat and Yom Tov candles, bringing physical and spiritual light into their homes and into the world.

Family Purity - Taharas Hamishpacha
Build Jewish marriage and family life upon the holiness of Torah and the Mitzvah of Mikvah.
 

Preparing the World for Geulah

The Mivtzoim are much more than individual good deeds.

Together, they represent the Rebbe’s vision of transforming the world, one person and one Mitzvah at a time.

Every pair of Tefillin put on.
Every Shabbat candle lit.
Every Mezuzah placed on a door.
Every coin given to Tzedakah.
Every word of Torah learned.
Every Jewish child given a Jewish education.
Every Jew reached with love.

Each one reveals more G‑dliness in our physical world.

This is how we get ready for Geulah.

The Rebbe repeatedly emphasized the teaching of Maimonides that a person should see the world as perfectly balanced, so that one additional Mitzvah can tip the entire world toward redemption and salvation.

Think about what that means:

That one Mitzvah could be yours.

The 10 Mivtzoim give each of us a practical way to participate in this mission.
 

So what can I do?

Learn about Moshiach & Geulah.
The Rebbe strongly encouraged every Jew — men, women, and children — to learn the Torah teachings about Moshiach and the Redemption. The more we learn about Geulah, the more real it becomes in our lives and the more we can begin living with a Geulah mindset today.

Add one more Mitzvah.
Every Mitzvah brings G‑dliness into the physical world. Light Shabbat candles, love your fellow unconditionally, put on Tefillin, give Tzedakah - Charity, put up a Mezuzah, learn more about Kosher, learn Torah, or choose another Mitzvah to strengthen.

Bring another person with you.
Our mission isn’t only personal. Share a Mitzvah, a Torah thought, or something you’ve learned about Moshiach with someone else. Help another Jew discover the beauty of their own Jewish soul and mission.

Fill the world with goodness and kindness.
Every act of goodness & kindness makes our world more like the world of Geulah - a world of peace, unity, G‑dliness, and purpose.

Ask for Moshiach.
We pray for the Redemption every day. Don’t let it remain only words in the Prayer Book. Think about what you are asking for, want it, pray for it, and anticipate it.

Don’t underestimate the power within you.

Your soul is Divine.
Your mission matters.
Every Mitzvah matters.
And the time is NOW!

Let’s not be bystanders to history. Let’s be participants in bringing the world to its ultimate purpose!

The Rebbe has handed us the torch; it’s up to us to carry it across the finish line.
